Where Can I Buy the Card?

Get your gift cards online or at Bankers Trust - Skywalk Branch only, 665 Locust Street in Downtown Des Moines between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Or buy online!



Online gift card orders received after 12:30 p.m. will not be processed until the next business day. Cash, credit cards and corporate checks are accepted. Gift Cards are mailed via United States Postal Service, expect at least one week for delivery (even if you live in the Greater Des Moines area).

How Does It Work?

The Downtown Gift Card will work just like a credit card at participating merchants.
There is a $2 activation fee per card when you purchase the card. If ordering more than 10 cards, the activation fee is waived.

Does the Card Expire?

Unless prohibited by law, a $2.50 fee will be deducted monthly from Card balance starting 1st day after 1 year of inactivity. Activity means any action resulting in a change in Card balance, other than fee imposition, or adjustment due to error or prior transaction reversal. $5 fee to replace lost, stolen or damaged Card, except as prohibited by law.
